Local Unit & Position Description:
The Business Controller, India and Middle East (IME) will work closely with the Area Manager, IME on all matters related to Finance and Business performance, and act as an advisor to the IME Management Team on matters related to planning, pricing, resource utilisation, project management, processes, Production and Financial Systems.
This position reports to the Regional Business Controller, APAC IME based in Singapore.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be expected to support the growth of our sales and delivery for a range of services and may have specialism and expertise in several of them, including:
Manage the Quarterly Forecasting and Yearly Budgeting Processes (input and coordinate);
Actively provide, monitor and analyse management data from the Production and Financial Systems to support the IME Management Team in improving operation/business and financial performance and processes; initiating corrective actions wherever necessary;
Periodically review operational and financial trends in order to identify and propose mitigation of potential risks; seek more efficient and effective methods of performing normal routines;
Work closely with the Global Shared Services (Finance) and the business units to ensure proper and timely closing of the monthly financials;
Play an active role in the commercial processes with regards to pricing and contract review;
Be the governance or gate keeper for Financial and Process compliance within the business unit;
Initiate and/or carry out ad-hoc financial and process audits on general financial management and business processes within IME;
Manage and supervise the finance team in each location;
Lead and/or participate in ad-hoc projects;
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance;
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position;
Managerial experience;
Strong attention to details and analytical skills;
Strong presentation and communication skills;
Proactive, Positive attitude and solution-oriented;
Able to adapt quickly to changing environment and can work under pressure;
Self-driven and with a collaborative team working spirit;
Advance / Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel is required,
Intermediate skills in Power Point and Word is preferred;
Some travelling maybe required;
Experience in a Certification or Assurance Company will be an added advantage
