About the Role
Forrester is looking for an energetic and collaborative Public Relations Intern to support Forrester’s public relations (PR) efforts in India and across the Asia Pacific region including Australia, New Zealand, China and Singapore. The intern will report to the APAC Comms Lead based out of Singapore and will work with them closely to collaborate on and execute the PR strategy in the region.
Job Description:
Work closely with the APAC Comms Lead to collaborate on and deliver strategic media campaigns to promote Forrester services, products, and thought leadership in the region.
Write media pitches, media alerts and press releases.
Pitch to media outlets and build relationships with key media and influencers in the region.
Maintain a global media list and monitor coverage.
Track and analyze the results of media campaigns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Research and secure speaking slots for Forrester thought leaders and executives at industry events.
Update and manage Forrester’s newsroom site.
Staying on top of trending topics/breaking news for opportunity to insert Forrester thought leadership commentary from key analysts
Job Requirements:
Possess a strong interest in PR/corporate communications/B2B marketing.
Have a strong academic record with varied undergraduate work experience, preferably enrolled in (or graduated with) a degree in communications, PR, marketing, business, journalism, or a related field. Prior experience working at a PR agency is preferred.
Excellent written and interpersonal communications skills.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with a strategic and forward-looking thought process.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
Strong interpersonal skills
A team player who is self-motivated and eager to learn.
A working knowledge of Word, PPT, Excel and ability to navigate the web.
