Job Purpose:
This Position will be part of Propulsion, APS and TCMS supply for MRS1 project Mumbai. The position will be responsible for supporting testing, commissioning and warranty activities.
T&C, Warranty Technician is responsible for supporting all T&C, Warranty activities foreseen at depot/factory. Support includes testing, installation/removal & troubleshooting, whether carried out at factory or customer premises.
For doing so the T&C, Warranty technician shall work in strict contact with T&C Engineers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for execution of day to day various activities at site
Responsible to provide the necessary Test & commissioning and warranty supports to T&C Engineers
Responsible to support the trains under defect liability period till the period of two years after the last train has been handed over to Employer’s representative.
Performing fault investigations and repair of failures with T&C Engineers as soon as they appear
Inspection for any abnormalities & reporting to T&C Engineers/Manager
Executing modification programs at site under the guidance of T&C Engineers
Complies with site EHS procedures
Experience/Skills/Qualification:
4 – 6 years of experience in rolling stock in T&C activities of propulsion, APS and TCMS
ITI/Diploma in Electrical & Electronics
Knowledge in Propulsion, APS, TCMS components
Experience in executing Rolling stock T&C activities, specially Propulsion systems
Team work, verbal and partial written communication skills
Flexible for night shifts
Working with Japanese companies is an added advantage
