Position (Designation): Business Applications Executive
Dept/Division: IT
Grade: JM3 level
Location: Grande Palladium, Mumbai
Purpose of the Role
1. Gathering business requirements and converting into Functional Specification documents and delivering the same- for simple/medium changes
2. Review IT Risk – particularly around developments done for online business
3. Ability to do a detailed impact analysis, create and execute IT test cases for new business scenarios /IT applications
4. Defect free on-time in-full delivery as agreed in business requirement document
The purpose of this role is to assist in reliable, consistent and uninterrupted application services to Marico business team. The role will have focus on marketing solutions and also website related requirements.
Qualification & Experience
 Preferably with 2-3 years of experience in IT industry with exposure to managing IT Projects involving marketing application development, website development, Digital marketing and support involving consumer engagement
 Knowledge of CDP will be an added advantage

Key Deliverables
 Analyst with experience in Managing IT projects around Marketing
 Knowledge in CMS (Content Management System) implementation projects and Support
 Knowledge of digital business and digital marketing
 Knowledge in Marketing analytics tools like Google Analytics
 Knowledge in managing projects involving website development involving frameworks around PHP, JS, React Angular is an added advantage
 Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
 Key interface between between business users and convert them to application requirements
 Track progress of development efforts, communicate progress to management team through status reports and meetings
 Collaborate with Consulting Organizations or IT Development team and ensure timely development and deployment of Solutions for related Applications in marketing and website development areas
 Partner closely with Vendors & Development team to establish and maintain clear, concise communication through regular reporting, meeting participation, and followups
 Contribute to advancing technologies and services by providing input and recommendations from project experiences and studying competitors
Key Competencies:
 The analyst should be able to understand the business requirement and coordinate with partner to deliver the output
 Analyst should understand consumer journey and be able to formulate test cases around the same
 Communicate and translate CMS feature upgrades and changes to relevant stakeholders
 To be able to do competitive benchmarking around front end applications
 Provide support to business across website and applications
 Support daily operations and work towards ticket reduction
 Ability to take on additional responsibilities as needed in this area of work.
 Monthly reporting of issues with SOD, consumer journey review and data analysis to spot any issues.
 Update product feature document on monthly basis
 Own ITGC / IRM audit for own area
 Tracking of website performance and operational data to identify opportunities of improvement
 Good communication skills, written and verbal with ability to convert data into clear and concise messages for end users
 Fair understanding of project management
 Should have good functional knowledge of Sales and marketing in the online domain
 Experience in preparing functional specifications documents and training documents
 Ability to think through a problem and provide permanent solution
