Job Description

Great data is at the heart of every great commercial enterprise. Therefore, being naturally inquisitive, an analytical thinker and passionate about processes will help you get this job.

We are looking for someone to support the Firm’s data management requirements that allows us to record and report on our new business activities. Similarly, you will also be working with the Firm’s Public & Social Sector team and be a key part of their process for capturing and managing new business enquiries.

Being a stickler for accuracy and having the ability to think independently will be a core requirement, as well as having the stamina to maintain high standards.


Tasks supporting new business reporting

Analysis, interpretation, extraction and/or manipulation of data currently being captured in relation to current new business activities
Investigation of missing data
Cross checking of information on internal CRM system
Searching the internet to verify missing information required and to enhance the current data, when needed.
Preparation of monthly report on new business pipeline
Creation of and maintenance of data within Opportunities database of CRM system
Set up new reports as required

Specific tasks for the Public & Social Sector (P&S) strategic market group

Check inboxes maintained by the P&S strategic market group
Download documents from new opportunities sent to the inboxes and create folders in appropriate location.
Advise P&S marketing team of the new opportunity(ies) and folder destination
Send opportunity to relevant fee-earner copying in P&S Marketing Executive.
Receive completed new opportunity form(s) from the marketing team and upload data onto CRM system
Retain list of incomplete forms for Emma to chase with a standard email.

Skills and Experience

Knowledge of the accountancy sector is useful but not essential
Ability to deliver accurate information with attention to detail
Microsoft Excel skills essential, must be intermediate level or above
Excellent time management and organisational skills in order to meet reporting requirements
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent and demonstrable written and verbal communication skills.
A conscientious, positive and enthusiastic approach to work, maintaining good working relationships with all colleagues and clients.
