Chief of Business

The role of Chief of Business is a key management role, especially for leaders with strong entrepreneurship skills, business acumen, sales caliber and growth mindset.

Saral Designs is a National Entrepreneurship Award winning start-up and is a market leader in machines for production of hygiene products in India. Started in 2015, Saral has developed the world’s first automatic and patented ultra-thin sanitary napkin making machine – Swachh. Since then, Saral has developed several versions of Swachh producing sanitary napkins, maternity pads, 3ply masks etc. These machines are set-up in more than 15 states of India and 8 other countries.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead the Business keeping with the vision outlined for the company by the Board of Directors
Revenue: Drive strategy and revenue growth for the Company working closely with sales and marketing teams
Finance: Work closely with the finance team to prepare annual budgets, revenue and profit targets, and report quarterly performance to Board of Directors
HR: Work closely with Human Resources (HR) on hiring practices, payroll and benefit disbursement
Targets: Collaborate with all HODs to set, measure and meet the objectives and key results for the Company
Represent Company in front of Clients, structure deals and develop strong relationships with clients

Requirements:

Strong ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly and communicate clearly
Leadership skills, including the ability to manage time effectively and handle both internal and external conflicts
A commercially astute and customer focussed individual, with a solid sales track record and a proven ability to foster strong business relationship
Candidate should ideally have an Engineering background or extensive sales/business development experience of hardware devices/ machines
Entrepreneur at heart: quick execution, self-drive and team leader
Should atleast have 15-20 years of relevant experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to deliver clear, concise information to partners, clients and team.
